Application: 

N500/N530 Gas Permeability Tester For Plastic  is used to determine the gas (such as O2, CO2 and N2) permeability/gas transmission rate (GTR) of various plastic film and sheeting, infusion bags and other package materials. It is designed using the principle of differential pressure method; the prepared sample is placed and clamped in the test cell with high/low pressure; then input the test gas into the vacuumized test cell to keep the constant pressure difference on the two sides of the test sample. Under the pressure difference, the gas will pass through the test sample from the high-pressure chamber to the low-pressure one; observe the pressure change in the low-pressure chamber is determined to calculate the permeability/transmission of the gas passing through the test sample. This instrument is widely used in food industry, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics flexible packaging materials industry (plastic film, barrier materials, sheets, metal aluminum, PVC, PVC sheets), college, university and quality institution for gas (O2, CO2, N2, etc.) permeation test and quality control.
