2. APPLICATION

  Carpet Flammability Tester is used to assess the burning behavior, such as flame-retardant and heat shrinkage, of textile floor coverings in a horizontal position when exposed to a small source of ignition under controlled laboratory condition.

   There are two test methods: one is hot metal nut method, another is methenamine method.

4.   FEATURES

Ø  Stainless steel working chamber, and equipped with removable skateboard;

Ø  Equipped with 45° viewers at the top of test chamber, convenience to observe sample;

Ø  Provide with standardized metal sampling board;

Ø  Provide standard methenamine pills and stainless steel nut that endure for 900℃ temperature;

Ø  Use asbestos heat isolation materials around and at the bottom of test chamber.
